Gwynn's Island Kukini 5k race/ 1m fun run

Get ready to lace up your shoes, don your Island apparel, and head for the Gwynn’s Island “Kukini Run” sponsored by Virginia Tidewater Trailrunners (VTTR) benefiting the Mathews County YMCA. In Hawaiian, Kukini means "swift runner or messenger, employed by old chiefs, with a premium on their speed." If you’d like to support a great cause & enjoy the Island theme, we invite you join us. The event will be held to coincide with the annual Gwynn’s Island Festival and features a 1-mile fun run/walk and both 8k and 5k run options.
