Welcome to the 2020 Habitat for Humanity Decades Day 5K Run/Walk. This 5K will take place on Saturday, April 11th and is organized by students at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University to raise funds for the Philadelphia Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The mission of Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is to transform lives by building quality homes in partnership with families in need and, locally, uniting all Philadelphians around the cause of affordable housing. UPenn’s Habitat for Humanity Chapter helps to fight homelessness in our community and beyond through monthly volunteer builds, ReStore projects, and community outreach events throughout the year.
This year’s theme is Decades Day to shine a light on the efforts in affordable housing over the years in Philadelphia and the nation. Please wear your favorite outfits from the 1950s-1990s on race day to show support! The best costumes win gift cards to select locations!
