Half Note Half Marathon & 5K

About This Event:

This is a fundraiser event to support the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra (SMSO), located in St. Joseph, Michigan. The SMSO has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of the community since 1951. We strive to bring a wide variety of musical experiences to the region and help maintain a dynamic and vibrant community for all

Course Description:
Runners will experience the beauty of southwest Michigan's agricultural heart as they run past fragrant vineyards, hops fields, and rich farmland between Stevensville and Baroda, Michigan. The course starts and ends at the same place, looping around the countryside. While mainly flat, there are some climbs along the way to add some challenge.

5K Run Walk

Age Divisions and Awards: Overall Male and Overall Female Age Division Awards (Male and Female) - 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and Over.   Tee Shirts: Two shirt sizing options will be available - Women's Tee Shirt Fit and Unisex Tee Shirt Fit. An extra $2.00 will be added for the XXL sizes. Tee Shirts are guaranteed for all participants if registration is made before September 1, 2019.  After September 1st, tee shirts are available on "first come - first serve" basis.   Timing and Scoring: Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology.
