Registration for the Happy Camper Endurance Run will open on January 15, 2021 but runner UltraSignup Registration Fee credit card payments will not be processed until May 1, 2021 in the event that the Happy Camper Endurance Run is cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.
Because Credit Card Processing is being DELAYED for this Event, UltraSignup will display the verbiage “Waitlist/Lottery” during event “Checkout/Event Confirmation”. Please note that the first Runners (50 Mile = 25 Runners, 100 Mile = 25, 150 Mile = 15 Runners, 200 Mile = 15 Runners) that register for the event will be Guaranteed Entry into the Happy Camper Endurance Run. Runners can “Withdraw” from the Happy Camper Endurance Run any time before May 1, 2021.

To reduce Runner, Volunteer, and Staff contact with the general public, the 2021 Happy Camper Endurance Run may be confined to the South Course (i.e. Standley Lake Regional Park) in Calendar Year 2021.

Happy Camper Endurance Run
Come out and explore the beautiful Trail System located at the Standley Lake Regional Park and Westminster Hills Open Space in Westminster, Colorado during the Happy Camper Endurance Run on June 16-20, 2021. Runners will have a fun time exploring 13.1 Miles of Scenic Trails at the Standley Lake Regional Park (South Course) which includes beautiful views of the Standley Lake, Colorado Front Range Mountains, Wildlife (i.e. Bald Eagles, Coyote, Prairie Dogs), and several miles of relaxing Shoreline Running.
The running adventure then spills over to the Westminster Hills Open Space (North Course) where Runners will explore another 13.1 Miles of trails bringing them fantastic views of the Front Range Mountains, W-I-D-E Open Space Running at it's greatest with miles of views in all directions, and a web of connecting trails which will keep you on navigating toes. I almost forgot, the Westminster Hills Open Space Trail System is also home to the Westminster Hills Off-Leash Dog Park so Runners will be allowed to bring Fido along on their North Course 13.1 Mile Adventure!
The South Course combined with the North Course will create a 26.2 Mile Loop with about 1,531 Feet Elevation Gain with the Course High Point sitting at around 5,772 Feet Elevation and the Course Low Point at around 5,358 Feet. The South Course ranks Very Low as for technical terrain but the North Course in some sections has plenty of rocks you can roll your ankles on! Both Courses are Fast but if Mother Nature turns up the Summertime HEAT then lookout!! The South Course and the North Course are 99.9% Exposed with no Tree Coverage!

This includes FREE ENTRY into the Standley Lake Regional Park as well. Only 1 Vehicle is allowed at a Campsite. Parking is VERY TIGHT at the Standley Lake Regional Park so Reserving a Campsite for the weekend is you best option! Runners will also have access to their Campsites on the "South Course" during their Run.

Aid Stations
Fully stocked Aid Stations will be placed on the Course every 4-6 Miles with Water, Tailwind Hydration, and plenty of Nutrition to keep your Caloric Levels running strong!
Fun Run Swag
All runners will receive an Event Shirt at packet pickup with the Happy Camper Endurance Run logo. Runners will also receive a Finisher Award or 100 Mile Buckle after they run, walk, or crawl across the Finish Line!
Special awards will be handed out to the first 3 Female and to the first 3 Male participants to run, walk, or crawl across the Finish Line in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each course distance.
Event Camping
Campsites are available at the Standley Lake Regional Park campground along with very cool Tipi Rentals! The Campground is no more than a few 10ths of a Mile from the Happy Camper Fun Run Starting Line so spending a night under a warm Summer starry Colorado sky is a Runner's best option! Runners will also be able to exit the South Course at two different trail locations to access their Campsites during the Fun Run Event.
