Looking for something to do with the whole family on Fathers Day Weekend?
Have you always wanted to run a Half Marathon or maybe even just a 5K but seems like too much work? Well.... you're in luck! Join us for the inaugural Happy Hour Half K benefiting the HRCA Therapeutic Recreation Program! Bring your family, friends and pets and join us in supporting one another on this 1640 foot "race" course. There will be 1 aid station on course for those risking dehydration and looking to carb up with donuts to propel yourself to the finish line. Haven't started training? No worries.... neither has anyone else!!
The race begins at Shea Stadium and finishes at Grist Brewing Company in Highlands Ranch.
Come hang out with us before the big 6:00 p.m. start time. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. there will be festivities for the whole family to enjoy- including beer, pizza and bounce castles/slides.
After finishing the grueling race stick around at Grist Brewing Company for more fun! More bounce castles/slides, music, food trucks and yard games. Enjoy the Happy Hour Half K beer of the night where a portion of all proceeds go directly back to the Therapeutic Recreation Program.
Crazy/Wacky attire is welcomed!!
