About the event
It's that time again! The 3rd annual Harding Avenue Elementary 5K Walk/Run. The HAE Lighting Panther 5K!! Registration begins on March 28th, and the event will be held Saturday, April 28th at Blacksburg High School. Our goal is to offer a fun activity for the Blacksburg community as well as to raise money for outdoor exercise resources for Harding Avenue Elementary School. In the past two years, race proceeds have helped us update our playground equipment. We are also saving to install exercise equipment around our track!
The BHS 5K route is fun and somewhat challenging. T-shirts will be included with adult registrations only. Elementary school aged kids run FREE and do not need to register! Additional t-shirts, including kids sizes, will be offered for sale at the event. We hope you can join us this year!
