About the event
5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run are part of Harmony's family-oriented New Year's Eve (Silvester) celebration on German time from 3-7 EST in recognition of its German heritage. Also available is a pork and sauerkraut dinner ($20/person) at the Harmony museum, continuous comedy short film "Dinner for One" and Bleigiessen--melted lead shapes that predict what the new year will bring. Includes entertainment in the town square to welcome 2018 with a count-down in German at 6 pm -- midnight in Germany to a ball-drop, followed by fireworks and singing of Auld Lang Syne. Registration details: 5K Run/Walk - 3:30 PM (EST) $20 until Dec 15th, after Dec 15 - $25.
