Supporting Niles Family Services Food Pantry: Over the past 5 years, together, we have raised over $12,000.00 and have collected thousands of pounds of food to help the families of our community. We are very proud the proceeds will benefit Niles Family Services Food Pantry in supporting all those families in need by raising money through the fee to participate and donations.

Why is it so important to support the Niles Family Services Food Pantry?

People are often surprised to learn that even in our “affluent” communities there are many people, young, elderly and in-between, who do not have the resources to feed themselves or their families adequately. With the pandemic that we currently live in, the needs have grown substantially.
The Niles Family Services exists to aid those who need food, especially on an emergency basis. We want to make sure that every person has the food they need to sustain themselves.

Current Food Pantry Needs:

The highest priority need for donations to the food pantry right now are cleaning supplies. Also needed are paper plates, plastic utensils, and cups.If you prefer to donate food items, the most useful items are canned fruit, canned vegetables, tuna, cereals (individual sized), oatmeal, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly, Chef Boyardee cans, chili, and pasta sauce.
