HEB Zoo Stampede

Whether you are as fast as a jaguar or as slow as a tortoise, we have got the race for you on November 11th!

Join us for our annual family fun run this November and run for the animals!  We have beautiful certified 5K and 10K courses as well as our uncertified 1K fun run and walk for people of all ages.  A chip timed run takes you through our award-winning zoological park and along and across the Brazos river, eventually leading you back for a wild finish line party at the zoo.  Your custom race shirt and race bib will represent the spry Monkey you are!

After the race, join the fun at the 10th Annual Wildlife Wonderland Experience.  Show your race bib for free entry to the Cameron Park Zoo on November 11, 2017 and receive 10% off your purchases at the Zootique gift shop.

If registered by October 31, 2017, 5K participants will receive a long-sleeved cotton event shirt; 10K participants will receive a long-sleeved technical event shirt. 

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, November 10

11:00 am.-2:00 pm:  Packet pick-up and registration, zoo entrance.

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Packet pick-up and registration, zoo entrance.

Saturday, November 11

6:45am - 7:45am:  Race-day registration and packet pick-up

8:00am:  1K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

8:30am:  10K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

8:45 am: 5K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

Awards will be presented upon completion of the 5K and 10K. There are no awards for the 1K as it is non competitive and not timed.
