Heroes for Children 5k Run and Family Fun Run/Walk

The Heroes for Children 5K and Family Fun Walk will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the South Mountain Recreation Complex's Clipper Pavilion in West Orange (rain or shine). Join your neighbors, community and friends for a fun-filled day and help us raise awareness about child abuse and neglect in New Jersey and increase knowledge about the difference resources like local Children’s Advocacy Centers and Multidisciplinary Teams make in a child’s life.

Registration and packet pick up begins at 7:30am; events begin at 10 am and walkers and runners of all ages are welcome! Superhero costumes are encouraged! Following the 5K and walk, join us for music, face painting, arts and crafts, and other activities. Proceeds will benefit the New Jersey Children's Alliance and local programs in all 21 counties.
