Kansas City’s first and only 5K to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care!

Our mission is to raise awareness and support for Hospice and Palliative Care, specifically benefiting those at Kansas City  Hospice & Palliative Care and Midland Care Hospice of Topeka and Lawrence.  Since the 2011 inaugural race, Heroes for Hospice has raised and donated a net $150,000 to the two hospice houses!

This family friendly race will take place on a fun route around the Lions Gate Golf Course starting and finishing at REI in Prairiefire. Bring your friends and family out to support an amazing cause. Runners, walkers and stroller/wagon riders are all welcome join!

The race will look a little different this year as our first priority is to ensure the safety of all of our participants and volunteers as we continue to work through Covid-19.  We will be working with KC Running Company to ensure proper social distancing measures pre and post race.

There will be awards given to the top overall male/female winners and overall male/female masters runners following the race.  All registered participants receive a complimentary Heroes for Hospice race shirt.

Not a fan of running or walking, but still want to help? Donations of funds are greatly appreciated. Copy and paste the link below into your web browser to be a financial supporter!
