This race is helps support Northwest Harvest fight hunger in Washington State. Northwest Harvest is Washington’s own statewide hunger relief agency. Their mission is leading the fight for hungry people statewide to have access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health. Their vision is ending hunger in Washington. If you can, please bring any non-perishable or canned food item to the race and we’ll happily drop it to Norhtwest Harvest.

Race Day Schedule
8:20AM – 9:10AM: Bib Pickup at Green Lake softball fieds (East side of Green Lake – Look for Hi5K Tents). You may also drop off any canned food items you’d like to donate at this time. Day-Of-Race registration available at this time as well.
9:30AM: 5K Race Start
10:05AM: Podium Awards Begin – Top 3 in each age category (Male/Female awarded separately).
Age categories are as follows 1-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
9:50AM – 10:40AM: Post-Race Hydration and Nutrition available

Address to Start/Finish Area: 7351 East Green Lake Dr N, Seattle WA 98115
Course Info: Start/Finish area is at the Greenlake Community Center basketball courts on the East side of Greenlake. From the start, the race will head west toward the lake and then make an immediate right-hand turn to begin a counter-clockwise loop around the Green Lake on the inner paved path. At approximately mile 2.8 there will be a right hand-turn to exit the inner path and begin a counter-clockwise lap around the play fields (softball / soccer area). The final turn (at “Turn and Burn” corner) will be a left-hand turn with 200 meters remaining to the finish (time to kick! – it’s slightly downhill too).

Timing: This is a chip-timed event. Timing is provided by Budu Racing.
Weather: Prepare for cold or inclement weather (It’s February).
Can I participate with a stroller? Absolutely – we are stroller friendly.
Can I run with my dog? Unfortunately no, USATF (USA Track & Field) will no longer insure or sanction events that allows dogs.
