A run in paradise:
A testing set of runs where acclimatization is key. There is a 5 and 10k acclimatization run 2 days before your half or full marathon. The run is in the scenic Sangla Valley of Himachal Pradesh in the Upper Himalayan in India. This is a great family vacation area getting in to high apple country and bordering the primarily Buddhist district of Lahaul and Spiti. Reaching the start line is a 2 day adventure from Delhi and is part of the acclimatization.
Stay at Banjara Camps at Batseri Village and if that is booked - then somewhere close by - details are on the organiser website and you can connect with others on our Facebook events page to travel and stay together and get queries responded to
