Historic Beaufort Road Race

Due to the on-going pandemic, we have decided to cancel this year’s race. The race is an annual tradition that many people look forward to. We felt that in the best interest of the participants and the community that the race should not be run. We are planning on coming back bigger and stronger in 2021 and look forward to seeing you then. Till then please stay safe and healthy.

40 Years and still going strong... Join us for a local tradition, the Historic Beaufort 10K/5K/1M race.

STARTING TIMES:
7:30 am- 1 Mile Run/Walk
7:55 am- 5K/10K Wheelchair & Baby Jogger participants
8:00 am- 5K Run/10K Run

ENTRY FEES:
Individuals-
1-Mile: $20 by 3/31; $25 from 4/1 through 6/30; $30 from 7/1 through race day
5K: $25 by 3/31; $30 from 4/1 through 6/30; $35 from 7/1 through race day
10K: $32.50 by 3/31; $35 from 4/1 through 6/30; $40 from 7/1 through race day

FAMILY/GROUP PRICING: Groups of 4 or more signing up at the same time receive $5 off per person (any of the 3 events)!

Wheelchair and Baby Jogger participants are welcome in any of the 3 events.

The Town of Beaufort is offering free parking on race morning until 10:00 a.m. this applies only to public lots, not privately owned lots.

PACKET PICKUP:
Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday, July 17th from 4-6:30p.m. in Beaufort at the Beaufort Train Station at 614 Broad Street (corner of Broad and Pollock St). Race Day packet pick-up and registration will be from 6:30- 7:45 a.m. at First Citizens.

TIMING:
This year's race will be timed by Run the East using disposable BibTags. Runners must pick up and wear their race bibs during the race. Make sure you do not bend the timing chip on the bib.

AWARDS:
Medallions are given to the:
Top 3 overall male & female finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 3 male & female masters finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 2 male & female age group finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 1 male & female wheelchair finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 1 male & female baby joggers in the 5K
Oldest & youngest finishers in all 3 races
AGE GROUPS:
10K- 12 & under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

5K- 12 & under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

1 Mile- 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Runners must register at least 45 minutes before the race to be eligible for awards!
