Join the fun at the 8th Annual Honolulu Ekiden and Music Festival, Sunday, May 17th at Queen Kapi‘olani Park and Waikiki Shell. Sign up for the marathon-length relay race and compete with more than a thousand runners (some in their favorite super hero costumers) as they make their way around Oahu’s beautiful South Shore, ending back at the park. The race course is divided into six sections. Relay teams can consist of two-to six-participants. The Music Festival at the Waikiki Shell features a star-studded lineup, including hip-hop, reggae and rock sensations, Dirty Heads, Grammy-nominated Gin Blossoms, Japanese singer-songwriter Piko Taro, best known for his viral hit “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” and Japanese rock band FLOW at the Waikiki Shell.
