Kindness Classic 5k & Youth Run

Race #3 of the Lynchburg Road Runners’ Race Series, this event begins on the historic Presbyterian Homes campus of HumanKind and winds through historic Peakland Place finishing back on campus. Proceeds from this race benefit the programs of HumanKind.

Participants: All ages and abilities. Walkers are welcome. Dogs and strollers are prohibited.

Assisted Participants: All are welcome! Please contact the race director one week prior to race day. Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event.

REGISTRATION:  
5K:  $30 (deadline Mon. May 31st) || $35 (June 1 -  19, 2021) 
Assisted Participant 5K:  $0.00 (t-shirt available for an additional fee of $15)

Paper registration is not available for this event.
Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be differed to the following year or a future event.

Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount:
A $5.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members for the 5k only.  Discounts will not be given after Monday May 31, 2021. Participant membership must be current with LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and discounts will not be given after completing online race registration.

Assisted Participants:
We are pleased to provide an opportunity for assisted participants to enjoy race day. An assisted participant is typically being pushed in a stroller "appropriate" for the event (ie.. hand break, tether, appropriate wheels). Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event. Assisted participants will start prior to the start and be ranked separately from the event. Both the pusher and assisted participant should indicate this classification during the registration process for our planning purposes.

T-SHIRT DEADLINE:
Event t-shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by Monday, May 31, 2021.

Packet Pickup:
Packet Pickup is at Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Friday June 18th, 12:00-5:45pm. Race Day packet pickup is 7:00-7:30 am on the HumanKind campus at 150 Linden Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503

5K AWARDS:  
Top 3 Overall M/F, Top Overall Masters M/F, Top 3 in each age group. Overall awards ranked on "gun" time / Age group results ranked on "chip" time. 
*This is a Chip timed event, Disposable MyLaps Race Bib Technology will be used.

AGE GROUPS:
12 & under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up. Age Group ranking based on "chip" time.
