To Our Colleagues,
The Integra African American Affinity Group (IAAAG) invites you to participate in an Integra Juneteenth Virtual 5K taking place June 12, 2021 through June 18, 2021 in support of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.
As our President and CEO Peter Arduini mentioned last year, Juneteenth is a time for us to assess, improve and engage in conversations on how we can contribute to the betterment of our society. What better way to actively think about how to do that than a walk or run to focus on how we as colleagues and people can unify, heal and stem the tide of a societal issue that we have been confronting for far too long.
Although we wish we were gathering together in person to host this 5K and celebration, it is our mission to keep everyone safe as we encourage our colleagues to spend some time reflecting while staying active. As a virtual 5K, participants will be able to run during the timeframe of the event as they see fit. It is our hope that colleagues will take time for themselves during the week of this event to keep their bodies moving!
As you all know, Integra has supported the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation for several years and we will continue to do so with this initiative. The proceeds from this event will go directly to the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.
Additionally, registering for this event includes a race packet that will include a T-Shirt, race bib and a bracelet! All race packets will be mailed to each registrant. Our goal is to have 200 employees registered for this first time event, but we can’t do that without your participation!
As a thank you to all participants, there will be a randomized raffle taking place! All Integra Employees that register or donate will be entered into a raffle to win a themed basket ranging anywhere from snack baskets to self-care baskets or a gift card! This is our way of thanking you all for your participation!
