Jane E Harry Memorial Under the Moon 5K

    Limited to only 450 Runners!   Come for the race.  Stay for the Party! Imagine a beautiful moonlit night in beautiful Sarasota where the only sounds you hear are the Loons calling in the night. The rustling of the brush as wildlife forages in the woods.   The splash of the occasional jumping fish or the undeniable sound of a gator sliding off the bank into the water.   You turn your light toward the darkness along the lake, green eyes catch the light and glow as they stare back at you.   Is it a deer, a hog maybe a cougar.    You hear your feet hitting the pavement, you hear your heart rate increase.  Is it because you are running?    You know you are perfectly safe as you make your way down our paved glowing  5K course and realize you have never felt so alive while in a race.  All your senses are tingling as your mind imagines the wonders all around you that make Sarasota the amazing place it is. As you see the lights of the finish line ahead, the sounds of dance music start to replace the sounds of the wild.  You smell the aroma of the awesome party food.  The thought of an ice cold beer pushes you on and you realize that this going to be an amazing night with great friends!    Like we said.  Come for the race.  Stay for the party!

 

It's a timed 5K race on our unique Glow Course. A Custom Finisher medal for every finisher.

There will be prizes for the most lit up runners and the best costume.

Food will awesome Cheeseburgers and fresh hot French Fries!
The After Party will feature Group Karaoke, Corn Hole, Great Food, Ice Cold Beer, Hard Cider and non-alcoholic beverages. All with great friends and a ton of fun! Age Group Awards will go 3 deep.

Although we are not restricting kids of any age, it is more of an adult event!  It is up to you to decide if you want to bring your kids.  We have decided to leave our kids with Grandpa.   Make it a date night!

Race bibs cannot be sold!    You have a couple of options.   For $10 you can be deferred to the, 2020 Under the Moon 5K or for $20 we will transfer your bib to another runner of your choice.

 

 

We also offer Registration Insurance

The registration protection option allows you to get reimbursed up to 100% if you cannot attend the event for a number of reasons, including covered injury, illness, traffic accidents, and more. It also includes Required to Work coverage as an added benefit of protection in the instance that you are required to work for a covered reason.
