Jazmin's 78km Run for Puerto Rico

My long time running friend Jazmin Abraham is running 78 kilometres for the 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico. She is running with her crazy crew, The Rochelle Park 5am United Nations Crew. She is doing this to raise money to send for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Let's help her by donating money, running by her side, volunteering, donating items needed for that day. This is her story and why she is running for Puerto Rico:

"I'm calling out my running community, friends and family. As many of you know I'm from Puerto Rico. I was born and raised there. I left my beautiful country 12 years ago, leaving behind most of my family. Puerto Rico is going through really hard times. It breaks my heart to see so many people lacking basic needs like drinking water, food, medicines and power. Because I'm so far away and I know the struggle of my people there, I need to do something. I have decided to do what I do best, what makes me happy, what I love the most, what makes me free, what gives me hope RUN!!! I will be running 78 kilometers for my 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico next month. Let's run for Puerto Rico and raise some much needed money. I need help, I need runners, volunteers, donations, support. I need you!!! Who is with me??? I know it sounds crazy but together we can do it!!! " Let's run for Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Mi amiga de mucho tiempo, Jazmin Abraham, va corre 78 kilómetros para los 78 municipios de Puerto Rico. Ella está haciendo esto para recaudar dinero para enviar a las víctimas del huracán María en Puerto Rico. Ayudemos donando dinero, corriendo a su lado, haciendo trabajo voluntario, donando los artículos necesarios para ese día. El día es el 19 de noviembre de 6 a.m. a 6 p.m. Apoyemos esta gran causa. Esta es su historia y por qué ella se postula para Puerto Rico:

"Llamaré a mi comunidad, a mis amigos y a mi familia. Como muchos de ustedes saben, soy de Puerto Rico. Nací y crecí allí. Salí de mi hermoso país hace 12 años, dejando atrás a la mayoría de mi familia. Puerto Rico está pasando por momentos muy difíciles. Me rompe el corazón ver a tantas personas que carecen de las necesidades básicas como el agua potable, los alimentos, las medicinas y el poder. Como estoy muy lejos y sé la lucha de mi gente allí, necesito hacer algo. He decidido hacer lo que mejor hago, lo que me hace feliz, lo que más amo, lo que me hace libre, lo que me da esperanza. Correré 78 kilómetros para mis 78 municipios en Puerto Rico el próximo mes. Corramos para Puerto Rico y recaudamos dinero que tanto necesitamos. Necesito ayuda, necesito corredores, voluntarios, donaciones, apoyo. ¡¡¡Te necesito!!! ¿¿¿Quién está conmigo??? Sé que suena loco, ¡pero juntos podemos hacerlo! " Corámonos por Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
