JEPF Sprint to Summer 5k Run/Walk & Pet Parade

The 4th Annual JEPF Sprint to Summer is a 5k Run/Walk event for all ages. The race will kick off at 9 a.m. and will be run through the quiet neighborhood streets surrounding Hiller Park. Runner's prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers.

Following the race, grab your furriest family-friendly pets and join us for the 2nd Annual JEPF Pet Parade. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. The course will be marked around the grassy area of Hiller Park. Festively attired pets will compete in various contest categories: Best Pet Costume, Most Original Costume, Best Costume Duo (pet & Owner)

This fundraising event is coordinated by the Johnsburg Educational Partnership Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose vision is to provide the students of Johnsburg District 12 valuable educational opportunities not funded through traditional sources.  All proceeds from this event will help build stronger technology resources and expand the accessibility of Chromebooks for the students in each of the District 12 Schools.  

All participants will be entered into a drawing to receive a Chromebook.  Pre-register for the event and receive an additional entry!

Walk-up registrations will be accepted the day of the event.  Please note that prices for all events will increase $5. 

Register by May 14th to receive your 5K race t-shirt at the event. 5K registrations received after this date will need to pick up their t-shirt at the District office at a later date. 

This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be processed.
