About the event

It's Queensland's most scenic and longest running fun run. The Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run takes place around the stunning Redcliffe Peninsula, offering four great events to entrants each year. In 2020, the annual event will run on Sunday the 19th of July from Pelican Park in Clontarf. With races ranging from 3km to a half marathon, there is a race for everyone to compete in.

Half Marathon Liam Boudin outran roughly 835 runners to win with a time of 01:05:03, followed by Kieren Tall who finished with a time of 01:05:48. Finishing third was Wayne Spies (01:10:26). In the ladies race, Jacqui Swindale took top honours by finishing the race in 01:27:37 , ahead of Kathryn Parkinson (01:27:45). Rounding out the top three was Shaun Lee with a time of 01:11:52. In the women’s race, Cassie Fien won the race with a time of 01:15:51 . She finished 6 minutes 37 seconds ahead of Clare Geraghty.
