Kennedy Hope & Healing 5K and Kennedy Cancer Survivors Day Celebration

Saturday, September 15th, will mark Kennedy Health’s 8th Annual Cancer Survivors Day Celebration 5K Run /Walk. This USATF-certified 5K course runs through Washington Lake Park in Sewell, NJ.

Cancer survivors and their family members can participate in several activities at the event, including the Survivors’ Lap, a horticultural therapy survivor craft project, an art project, family games and wellness demonstrations. There will also be a food truck and vendor tables.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Kennedy Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Fund. This fund provides critical assistance for cancer patients experiencing non-medical financial challenges during their treatment, such as mortgage or rent payments, utilities, food, wellness activities, or transportation.
