About the event

Glow It Up for Kids & Cops!! Join us for the 6th Annual Kids & Cops Glow Run 5K in beautiful Edenton, NC! The race is organized by Chowan County 4-H & the Chowan County Sheriff's Office. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chowan County Kids & Cops Program.

COURSE
The 5K route is an out and back, flat road course starting at Queen Anne Park and running through Historic Hayes Plantation. 

AWARDS
Top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

PACKET PICK-UP
Packets may be picked up race day at the registration table beginning at 6:30 pm. 

RESULTS
Electronic chip timing services will be provided by Run the East, LLC.

DIRECTIONS
Queen Anne Park is located at 214 E. Water Street, Edenton, NC 27932. Specific directions to the park are available at www.mapquest.com.

HOSPITALITY
Drinks and refreshments will be available after the race at the hospitality tent for race participants only.

I’M JUST A KID: $15 (pre-registration) / $20 after April 20

 * Ages 16 & under only; pre-registrants will be guaranteed a shirt, with limited availability after April 20

This fee will include entry into the race and post-race snacks/beverages. Race t-shirt and goodie bag will be dependent on option selected above.  

The Kids & Cops Program was formed in 2012 as a collaborative effort between Chowan County 4-H, the Chowan County Sheriff's Office, and local law enforcement agencies. The mission is to build positive relationships between youth and law enforcement officers. By spending quality time with the youth, officers hope to make themselves more approachable and reduce juvenile crime.
