KU Vets Day 5K

The annual KU Vets Day 5K, hosted by the KU Student Veterans of America and the Veterans Alumni Network, honors our past/present veterans and raises awareness of the roles veterans play in our university and community.   The 5K begins and ends at Memorial Stadium, traveling through the KU campus past KU's five war memorials.

Awards

 

Awards will be given to top 2 overall male and female finishers.  Awards will be given to top 2 overall master male and female finishers.

Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers for the following age groups:

10 and under, 11-14, 15-19,20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

 

Finisher Medals

All  5K Finishers will receive a Finisher's Medal

Packet Pickup

Race packet pickup dates:

 

·         Friday, Nov. 10, Noon-5 p.m. at the KU Military-Affiliated Student Center, 345 Summerfield Hall, 1300 Sunnyside Ave. (KU campus), Lawrence

·         Saturday, Nov. 11, Noon-5 p.m., Ad Astra Running Co., 734 Massachusetts St., Lawrence

·         Sunday, Nov. 12, 7:30 a.m., race site
