Yes, that is POINT 5k, as in 0.5k

Join your fellow underachievers for an afternoon of glory and celebration to help raise money for a great community project, the Lansdale Freight House.

The 2nd Annual Frachthaus Zer0.5K will be held at 3:30pm on October 26, 2019

This is a fun, tongue-in-cheek event that will lampoon the typical 5k.

Some Details:

The cost to enter the Frachthaus Zer0.5K is a $40 donation, though more is acceptable (and appreciated), PLUS gives you entry into the Lansdale Oktoberfest with more beverages, food, entertainment and games (included in the price). (note: price is $45 on day of event and no guarantee on shirt size so, preregister)

The err . . . “Run” will start by gathering on Wood Street in front of Round Guys Brewing Company beginning at 2:30pm. Participants 21 & over may receive one cold beer before the start of the race. Those under 21 or those who prefer, a nice cold Root Beer.

The err . . . “Run” will begin at 3:30pm and head down Wood to Derstine, down Derstine to Vine towards Broad Street headed to the Freight House.

At the mid point, at the Lansdale Public Library, there will be a Pretzel & Water station for those that feel they need a little bit of carb-loading and energy boost to get them through the second half of the race.

The finish line will be towards the end of Vine Street in front of Borough Hall where you will finish with a huge sense of accomplishment and lots of cheering.

At that point you will cross over Broad Street to the Freight House to join in the Oktoberfest festivities where another cold one will be waiting for you and you will be able to relive your experience, brag to your friends and take selfies to post on social media “I DID IT!!” “I’M A FINISHER!!” “LOOK AT ME!!”

All participants will receive:

A complimentary cold beverage (beer/soda) before the start. Participant T-shirt, of course, to show everyone what a badass you are. Participation metal, to help you brag about your achievement at this great event. Pretzel's & Water at the mid-way point. Entry into the Lansdale Oktoberfest 

Oktoberfest Includes (all included in the price):

The Philadelphia German Brass Band G.T.V Almrausch German Dance Group Beverages by Round Guys & local breweries Food by local restaurants/vendors Family Fun Yard Games Kids activities And whatever else we think of by then!  All this fun goes until 7:00pm.

Individual & group costumes are encouraged and we will find a way to reward you. Cool sunglasses, crazy hats, short shorts, pajamas, you name it, come dressed for fun! Though we are encouraging Fall Harvest or German Attire (since there is an Oktoberfest).

Overachiever:

The fastest runners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will receive a special award, though we haven’t decided on them yet.

VIP Option: (very limited)

Don’t feel like running? Don’t think you can make the full 1,640 feet? Then you should be a VIP.

For $100 donation you don’t even have to run! How awesome is that!?

The official Frachthaus Zer0.5K shuttle is a gas powered picnic table, complete with umbrella and a full spread of special VIP only snacks for your journey.

You still get your complimentary beverage at the start, entry into Oktoberfest and all the other goodies.

But the best thing is, you get a bigger medal than everyone else because you are more important!
