About the event
The Strawberry 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run is one of the many family events during the Lebanon's 106th annual Strawberry Festival. The run precedes the Grand Parade and opens a day highlighted by the serving of the "World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake" free to over 15,000 people. Race entry fees will benefit Lebanon High School's Cross Country Team.
Both the 1 Mile Fun Run and the 5K follow the parade route through town just prior to the 11:00AM parade. The 5k is a flat, fast out and back on a nationally certified course. The course will be lined with cheering parade spectators for the entire route.
