Leftover 5K - Lone Tree

The Colorado Orthopaedic Research Institute (CORI) Tasty Wave 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, August 17, 2019. Check-in and registration is from 8:00am-8:50am. The race begins at 9:00am. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome, runners and walkers. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times.

This is a charitable fundraising event supporting CORI's 2019 orthopaedic fellowship program. The fellowship program provides orthopaedic surgeons with state of the art training, mentoring and experience in a variety of research studies. Increasing the number of fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons in our region improves the standard of care for patients throughout Colorado. In addition, the funds raised create opportunities to underwrite care for those in our population in the greatest need, without quality medical insurance and financial resources.

The event is also a great opportunity to burn off some Thanksgiving calories and make room for everyone's favorite leftovers. As a family friendly event the Tasty Wave 5K is a fun, healthy event.
