Letchworth 8 Hour Challenge: One Dam Mile At A Time

LETCHWORTH:  ONE DAM MILE AT A TIME is a one mile loop event.  See how many miles you or your team of up to four can get in 8hrs.  The loop is relatively flat and consists of asphalt, trail and grass with a portion of it overlooking the Letchworth Gorge. This event is to challenge you - whether it be trying to achieve a marathon in 8hrs, walking non stop or your first 100k, we provide a fully stocked aid station and great atmosphere.   SIGN UP.  SET GOAL. The whole park (Al Lorenz park, Mt.Morris) is ours for the day so bring your family and friends.  Letchworth state park is right next door so if they don't want to stay they can check out the largest canyon of the East.  The participants will be able to see the gorge on a portion of the trail.  The park has bathroom facilities - IT IS A CARRY IN AND TAKEOUT, playground, grills, trails and scenic little pond.  Enough room to set up your 10x10 canopy tent for you and your pack.
