LOL 5K

About This Event:

The LAUGH Out Loud 5K is a family friendly, community-wide walk/run event. It is the first 5K to ever hit "The Corners" !! This 5K will have you entertained and smiling, if not laughing while you take in the beautiful sights and energetic entertainment ("spirit stations") that will line the course. Walk, run, skip, scoot, jump, jog or "wog" - this race is for you!

Early Packet Pickup: Friday, August 10 from 4-7pm (Texas Drive Park) AND Kids FUN RUN: Friday, August 10, 2018,  6:30 pm The Little LOL - for ages 10 years and under on Friday night, August 10, 2018 - This children's FUN RUN will make one loop of the path in the Texas Drive park.

Saturday, August 11, 2018

Packet Pickup: 7:30-8:30 am (Texas Drive Park) Race Start Time:  9:00 am

 

Event Fees:

5K Run/Walk: $30 Kids Fun Run:  Free (t-shirt will be $10.00 if ordered) Registration includes: entrance fee and t-shirt (while supplies last) Photo opportunities before and after the race, photographer taking pictures during the race Parking: Southridge Church on Texas Drive and overflow parking at Texas Bible Church on 8th Street No Refunds

 

Course:

LOL 5K will start and end at Texas Drive Park and take you by Fresh on Q Farmer's Market

A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to Texas Township Parks and Trails.

 

T-Shirts:

To be guaranteed a t-shirt, participants must register before July 24, 2018.   Only a limited supply of extra t-shirts will be ordered for registrations after July 24th.

In person registrations will be taken at the Texas Drive Park Pavilion on:

Friday, August 10 from 4-7 pm  Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 7:30 - 8:30 am

 

Awards and Age Categories:

Overall Male and Female Age Division Awards 3 Places for each age group (Male and Female) 10 and Under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and Over

 

Timing and Scoring:

Timing and Scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing.  Results will be posted at the event and online immediately after the event.  www.macssportstiming.com
