Due to the guidelines and recommendations announced in regards to COVID-19 in Anchorage, we will be keeping the Love a Nurse Run as a Virtual Event for 2021!
What is a Virtual Run?
A virtual race is one you complete anytime and anywhere (treadmill, track, trail) by running and /or walking at a time of your choosing. Love a Nurse Run will take place from May 6th to May 12th, 2021-complete your run in this time period and then post your results on RunSignUp.
National Nurses Week is May 6th to May 12th, 2021 and we are celebrating with our 5th annual LOVE A NURSE 5K Virtual Run. The 5th Annual Love a Nurse Run will NOT have an in-person run this year– you get to choose your course as well as well as when you run your VIRTUAL 5K and Kids Run 1.3K. In order to keep safe distancing, we will be mailing your run shirt to the address listed on your registration. Information about logging your run will be sent with your registration confirmation! You don’t need to be a nurse to participate! Lace up your running shoes & hit the trails with us for a good cause! The Love a Nurse 5K is family-friendly and open to ALL – competitive runners and casual walkers alike. In order to keep safe distancing, we will be mailing your run shirt to the address listed on your registration.
You will be able to complete your event anytime between May 6th – May 12th, 2021. Look for an email on May 6th to announce that the event has started. With a follow up email that will show you how to post results.
Once you have finished your event you will be able to submit your results online! You can post results until May 12th @ 11:59 pm!
How to post results:
- Navigate to the Results page!
- Select SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS.
- Follow instructions for Results Submission from there.
