Can you tell us where it is located? Alhaurin de la Torre, near Malaga in the South of Spain. §staticmap(2379) This will be the 4th edition of the race. Why was it created in the first place? It is the 4th Edition of the Marathon. It is the 9th Edition of the race. It was created because we have a wonderful mountain range close to where we live and we wanted to share the route with other mountain runners. What kind of route have you set up for the runners? How would you describe it? Technical paths and some forest track. How many runners do you expect on Saturday morning? What type of runners do you plan to attract? 400 runners. All abilities from top internationals to local amateurs. Do you organize other races during the Week-End? If so, on what distances? No. Credit : montuno At that time of the year, what kind of weather can we expect? Usually good weather but it can rain heavily at that time of the year. Have you planned festivities around the marathon? Yes. Food and beer. The marathon finished, what advice would you give a runner who has never been to Llanos de Peñaprieta before? A good restaurant, a fancy sightseeing? Just stay after the race and join in the party.
