Mason 5k/10k Run/Walk

Did you know.... Epilepsy is a chronic neurological condition characterized be recurrent seizures. There are 2.3 million Americans living with Epilepsy. About 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy at some point in their lives. Epilepsy affects more people than Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cerebral Palsy combined.

Do you want to help support the 1 in 26 who will have some form of epilepsy in their lifetime? Then join us for the Mason Run to Erase Epilepsy 5k run/walk & 10k run! This race starts at the Mason Community Center, winds through scenic Mason, and ends back at the Community Center. This year we are excited to announce a special fun run/walk for people with special needs, complete with awards!

Course: The race starts and finishes at Mason Community Center (6050 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040) on 11/2/2019.  This year we will be starting the race at 9am instead of 8am as we have in years past. Registration Fees: Adult registration is 13 and over; child registration is 12 & under; with 2 & under in a stroller free but do not receive a shirt.

 - Pre-Registration: 9/1/2019 to 10/31/2019: Adult $35; Child $25

 - Packet-Pickup Registration: 11/1/2019: Adult $40; Child $30 (shirt size depends on availability)

 - Same Day Registration: 11/2/2019: Adult $45: Child $35 (no guarantee of shirt)

Time: The race starts at 9:00am.  Same day registration is from 7:30am-8:30am in the Mason Community Center.

Runner's Divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Walker's Divisions: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Pre-registration Packet Pick-Up: Beat the crowd the day of the event! Pick up your shirt and race number early at the Mason Community Center on: Fri 11/1/2019 from 3pm to 6pm.

Registration price includes t-shirt, awards and refreshments.

* All pre-registration shirts must be picked up by 9:00 AM on race day or they will be forfeited.

Refreshments: Enjoy food, music & drinks after the race.

Chip Timing: This event will be chip timed.

Awards: First place trophies given after the event to the top male and female in the 5k walk, 5k run and 10k run.  Medals to the top finisher in each age division.
