We are hopeful we are going to be able walk/run the river trail together this year! However last year’s virtual event went so well, we are going to keep that aspect. So, you can either join us at Potter Park on June 12th at 9am, or you can complete a 5K where ever you find yourself on June 12th! Mayor Andy Schor will join those folks at Potter Park as everyone makes their way to Maguire Park. There is transportation from Maguire back to Potter Park. Every participant receives a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the end. There will also be fun stations along the way to break up the trail for the kids.
Registration for the competitive run is $20 until June 4th for runners and includes a Mayor’s River Walk T-Shirt, finisher medal and Matching socks with prizes for the top three finishers in each age group. (June 5-9, $25, June 10-11, $30) .
Registration is free to walkers and includes Mayor’s River Walk T-Shirt and finisher medal!
Packet pickup: June 9th and 10th from 3-6pm at the Foster Center (200 N Foster Ave, Lansing) Race day starting at 8:00 am at Potter Park.
Be sure to preregister! Registration for the event ends at 11:59 pm on June 11th. There will be no race day registration available.
Your Mayor’s River Walk swag will be available for early pick up on June 9th and 10th from 3pm-6pm at Foster Community Center. Pick up will be in the South Lot of Foster Center.
