A lovely midsummer marathon through the woods, heath and park of a quiet community. There was NO km markers and a non-existent crowd. Oranges and bananas handed out with water every 5km. Study the route map well ahead of time. Very friendly start/finish and dedicated small group of marathoners. The shorter distances had more runners. Apeldoorn is suprisingly small slopes (I thought Holland was dead-flat but Apeldoorn is not!). Easy race to join and run. Overall very enjoyable!
