Miguel Reyes 5k

Miguel Reyes 5k is a fun/competitive race in memory of a great person, runner and friend Miguel Reyes from Fresno, California, who passed away in 2015. Come and join his family, co-workers and friends and participate on the CIF High School cross country course in Woodward Park, where fast runners compete for overall and age group prize money awards.

Shirts guaranteed to participants registered by June 15th.  
Medals awarded to the first 300 runners completing the 5k.

Proceeds of the race benefits the Miguel Reyes family.

Miguel Reyes 5k is a 10-Point Valley Runner of the Year Series event!
Free Breakfast provided along with dance entertainment (Zumba & Mexican Folkloric performances)

CASH Awards: 
$5,400 prize purse
Awards categories for men/women (Non-Students):
Overall: Top 5 ($500, $400, $300, $200, $100)
Age groups: Top 3 ($75, $50, $25)
Age Categories (19-under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-Over)
Top 5 overall male/female are NOT included in age group categories awards. 

BONUS: $100 for first man/woman to break race records: men: 15:15, women 17:27.

Athena (Women 160lbs and up) or Clydesdale (men 200lbs and up) division has been added for non-student 5k runners. Top 3 will receive an award. Participants will also be eligible for overall or age group awards.

Please note: Middle School/High School/College students are NOT eligible to receive prize money. Top 3 men and women from each category (Middle School, High School and College) will receive medals. 

Kids races: Under 1 yr old (10mts), 1-2 yrs old (50mts), 3 yrs old(100mts), 4-6 yrs old (200mts), 7-10yrs old (400mts)
All kids receive medals and shirts if pre-register before June 15th

Cross country team discount if pre-registered with at least 5 members on a team.  Contact the race director.

Packet pick up and late-registration will be at Fleet Feet of Fresno:
Friday, July 28th from 2:00-6:00pm 
Packet pick up and registration will also be available from 5:45-6:45 am on race day.
