Miles for Meals 5K Run benefiting Meals on Wheels of Eastland

Join us for our 1st Annual Miles of Meals 5K Run benefiting the Eastland Meals on Wheels! The Meals on Wheels mission is to service healthy meals to seniors and homebound residents. Your support of this event will enable MOW to deliver over 60,000 meals annually.  Come support your local Meals on Wheels! Register to walk or run; or just come for the fun! Wear your favorite Halloween costume and you could win an award! We will have a DJ and bounce houses! Come enjoy an evening of family fun, all ages and fitness levels welcome. 

Race t-shirts guaranteed to racers registered by September 20, 2018.

Events:

5K Run, Halloween theme

All participants are invited to wear a costume!

Registration:

Registration Fees (thru Sept 20) : 

5K - $20.00  (ages 10 and up)   

Registration Fees (after Sept 21) : 

5K- $25.00 (ages 10 and up)

10 and under: $10 per child

Course:

Miles for Meals will begin and end in front of the Siebert Elementary School on Sadosa Street. The paved route takes you through some inclines and declines while you run/walk through residential Eastland, circling the park hill before the finish line. A water station and first aid kit will be available.

Awards:

Medals will be awarded to the overall male & female finishers, and the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: Male & Female: 5 & under, 6-10, 11-14, 15-17, 18-20, 21-25, 26-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over, best overall costume, most unique costume.

Note: awards will not be given out until the last runner has crossed the finish line! Race will be Chip Timed by Race Day Event Services. Stick around for the awards ceremony, refreshments, snacks, and fun!
