Miles for Military 5K

Join us for the Miles for Military 5K and Relay Race Saturday, November 10, 2018. Come Celebrate Veteran's Day with a run! Race begins at 9:00 AM. Road race for the whole family. Run the 5K as an individual or part of a 2 person relay team! The relay team will have a holding location located down on Pequot Avenue for the 2nd relay person to wait. Relay partners will be walked out to the location at 8:45 AM. Captain of relay team can register and pay for team ($25 total per team) and during registration it will ask the name and shirt size of the 2nd runner.

Enjoy this family event while raising money for scholarships for children in New London and military families. Culminating event for the Mayor's Youth Fitness Challenge Year 2! Come celebrate with us! Prize for the best patriotic costume. Face painting, food, and music to follow. Race starts and finishes at Toby May Park on Ocean Ave. Shirts guaranteed to those who register before October 24. Remaining shirts will be sold for $5.00 on race day. Registration closes at 6PM Friday, November 9th with race day registration open in person from 7:45-8:45 AM only.
