Come out and run, walk or race a mile to support awareness for prostate cancer. Through collaboration with Team-Up Montana and Partnership Health Center, proceeds from the Missoula Mile have been used locally toward prostate cancer awareness, screening and treatment. They have successfully raised over $25,0000 towards that end in the first five years of this event.
Starts at 9 a.m. on Higgins Avenue in front of the Runner’s Edge, 304 N. Higgins Ave.
9 a.m. – Elite Race for men and women (qualifying times of sub-5:15 for men and sub-5:45 for women)
9:15 a.m. – Open Mile Run/Walk for men and women (Note – Open Mile may be split into men’s and women’s heats if total registration exceeds 250 runners.)
9:45 a.m. – Kids and families half mile (free ice cream from Big Dipper at the finish)
10 a.m. – First Responders Mile
