Neighborhood Co-op Feed Your Neighbor 5k

CO-OP FEED YOUR NEIGHBOR VIRTUAL 5K:
The Co-op Feed Your Neighbor 5K is a family-friendly event held every year in support of Good Samaritan House of Carbondale. This year the race has gone virtual! Race anytime, anywhere, and track your time and distance on the RaceJoy app. Complete your 5K anytime between April 9 – 16 and the results will be posted online.  Our Feed Your Neighbor course is professionally certified. If you wish to run it, it starts at Turley Park, located on the corner of West Main and Glenview in Carbondale. The course will be painted with markers on the ground. See map for more details. Not a runner? Alternatively, you can help and not have to participate. Just click the donate button to help those in need!

GOOD SAMARITAN HOUSE:
All proceeds will support Good Samaritan House of Carbondale, which provides a food pantry, soup kitchen, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and emergency assistance to the area’s most vulnerable citizens. This year our goal is to have 500 people donate $10 each! All donations stay local! Good Samaritan provides:
• Emergency Shelter or Transportation Services.
• Food Pantry to offer food and commodities.
• Soup Kitchen to provide balanced meals 3 times a day.
• Transitional Home for those who need help making a smooth transition to living an independent life again.
