Niceville Ugly Sweater Run/Walk

Tis the season to be tacky, so don your worst apparel for the 1st Annual Niceville Ugly Sweater Run/Walk December 10th, 2016.  Race will start and finish at Hurricane Grill and Wings in Bluewater Bay.  5K Run & Walk open to all ages will begin at 9:00a.m. and a 1 mile fun run for children 12 & under will begin at 10:00 a.m.. There will be chances to win prizes with raffles and a costume contest (while the theme is 'Ugly Christmas Sweater', your most festive holiday outfit will due nicely). Join us for fun, music, and tackiness at this USA Track & Field sanctioned event!!!  

Please register online by December 6th. Raceday registration is $40 from 7-8 a.m. at Hurricane Grill and Wings.

Official timing will be provided. Medals will be awarded for top finishers in age groups TBD. T-shirts are included for those who register online by November 30th.  Limited quantities and sizes may be available for those who register after November 30th.  A limited quantity of Finisher's medals are available for purchase when you register online.

Packet pickup and a catered pasta dinner (for only 7 bucks) Thursday December 8th from 5-8 p.m. at Crosspoint Church Niceville (rock your ugliest sweater for this as well!).  Dinner catered by Momma Brigman, yes that is Coach Brigman's mommy.  There will be games, prizes, and a costume contest at dinner.  You can purchase raffle tickets online, at the pasta dinner, or at the race and the winners will be drawn at the race.  

note - $7 is a discounted price for purchasing dinner online. $10 if purchased offline.

You can sleep in but still support the cause.  You can purchase race t-shirts and dinner tickets without registering for the race.  Just click the store tab from the menu.

Please bring your completed waiver and the printed PDF that will be attached to your comfirmation email with you to packet pickup.

FAQ

Question 1:  Are strollers allowed? 

Answer: Jogging strollers are allowed. Please be careful and curteous to other runners and walkers.

Question 2:  Do I have to register/pay for my child in a stroller?

Answer:  No, but you will need to include them on the waiver.

Question 3:  Are dogs allowed?

Answer:  Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome.

Question 4: Can I mail a paper registration form and pay by check?

Answer: Yes, you can find the form by clicking "event info" in the race menu, then "show registraton details".
