Nintzel Memorial 5K

In 2004, Keith Nintzel was involved in a fatal car accident while returning to his senior year at Binghamton University after spending Thanksgiving with his family. In his honor, a scholarship fund was created at Sayville High School for graduating seniors. This race is an attempt to fund this scholarship in future years and create a lasting tribute to Keith’s memory.

 Online registration will close at 7pm on Thursday June 8th, but sign ups will still be available all day on Friday June 9th at Sayville Running Company (12 noon-6pm) and at the Common Ground park from 7:30-8:30am on race day.

Awards: Top three finishers for 10 and Under, then 5 year age groups to 85+. Course records are engraved in stone at the Common Ground. Break the record and we'll inscribe your name. Current Records: Men: Brendan Connell - 15:13 Women: Hayley Green - 17:12
