No Child Wet Behind - Pennington

This is the first year that Mama's Best Friend is participating in the national "No Child Wet Behind" diaper drive. We will be joining nearly 30 NCWB races taking place on this same date nationwide! Our 5k and 1 mile Fun Run are a fundraiser and diaper drive dedicated to helping families in need in the central New Jersey and Philadelphia area with one of baby's most essential items: diapers. 1 in 3 American families don't have the money for a healthy supply of diapers, which costs roughly $1,000 a year! To lighten the load, we will be collecting diapers and tax-deductible donations before and during the race, and distributing them through our local beneficiary, the Philadelphia Diaper Bank.

The race itself is a flat, trail course set in scenic Rosedale Park in Pennington. With your registration you will receive a race t-shirt, swag bag, and a timed race score. There will be prizes for winners of each age group. This family-friendly event will also be holding a stroller decorating contest!
