Northeast Tennessee Veterans Ruck & Run

Please join the Veterans Point Outreach on November 3rd, 2018, for the 4th Annual Ruck & Run to honor all Veterans for their many sacrifices.

The Veterans Point Outreach was established in 2016, as a non-profit 501-c3, providing community services to Veterans within the Tri-Cities. Each and every day many Veterans go homeless, and 22 a day commit suicide. Our goal is to reduce both these numbers within our region to zero.

Physical exercise is a key component in managing post traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety, as well as other health issues facing our Nations heroes. It also provides support, camaraderie, and structure, which is a vital component to a Veterans well being and recovery.

This event is held annually the Saturday before Veterans Day. The Ruck & Run continues to be a huge success. The event draws both local, regional, and out of state competitors. This event is one of our regions premier outdoor challenges. Through media, newspaper, radio, and television advertising, this event highlights both Veterans issues, and the positive community involvement of our sponsors
