Odyssey Halloween Zombie Fun Run

Do you like Halloween?  More importantly do you like zombies and running?  If so, then this race is for you! 

The Odyssey Institute Water Is Life/Interact Club is hosting a 5k Zombie Fun Run to help support our sister school in Ghana.  The goal is to raise enough money so that a lunch program can be created for their school. 

Why is this important?  It is important for them to have a lunch program because at this time many of the students have a long trek to school and do not bring their own food or have it provided at the school they attend.  They all go home to eat lunch, however, many do not return after lunch due to the long journey.  Our goal is to provide a lunch program for them so that all of the students can have a full day of school.

How does the run work?  The run is going to happen along a 5k course.  This will go around the Odyssey High School and Middle School campus.  Zombies will be hiding in random areas ready to "feed".  Each runner will have a "Flag" which can be tucked into their pants/shorts.  If the flag is pulled out by a zombie, you are "eaten" and become a zombie yourself!  Registrants can indicate a preference if they would like to be a zombie.  Only a limited number of runners can be zombies.  If you would like to be considered as a zombie, please fill out the contact form and indicate that you would like to do so.  Zombies will be contacted on October 20th.
