Join us "in person" for the 13th Annual Outrun Hunger Charity Event!

Outrun Hunger is a 5K and 1 Mile charity event partnering with two food pantries, Hospitality House Food Pantry of Commerce and Open Door Outreach Center of Waterford, to help feed Lakes Region families during the holiday season.

Best of all, 100% of the contributions, (excluding online transaction fees), goes back to our community for those in need. Outrun Hunger is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization.

-Register by Tuesday, October 24th, and receive a free Custom Tri-Blend Long Sleeve Race Shirt of your choice

5K Team Giveaway: Sponsored by The Kroger Co. of Michigan

Attention all Organizations, Schools, Church's, Friends and Families! Bring together a team of 5 or more (to qualify) to run/walk the 5K. Each team member must be registered for the 5K. Choose "Team" when registering. Teams must be pre-registered, no race day walk-ins to qualify for the team giveaway. 

3 ways to win a $10 Kroger gift card for each team member, (maximum number of gift cards given to a team is 10). A team can only win once. 

1) Largest team of participants
2) Fastest team to cross the finish line
3) Remaining, qualifying teams will be entered into a drawing

1 Mile Team Giveaway: Sponsored by The Kroger Co. of Michigan

Fundraiser Giveaway: Top "Individual" and "Team" Sponsored by The Kroger Co. of Michigan

Individuals and Teams have the opportunity to help us reach our goal of $29,000 this year. 100% of your fundraising goes back to our community to help families in need of food during the holidays. Top "Individual", (minimum of $100 of fundraising to qualify), will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. Top "Team", (minimum of $300 of fundraising to qualify), will receive a $10 Kroger gift card for each team member (maximum number of gift cards given to a team is 10). All fundraisers "Individual" and "Team" must be registered for the 5K or 1 Mile.

High School Cross Country Team Challenge:
New this year.... the High School Cross Country Team Challenge: Program donations sponsored by The Kroger Co. of Michigan. Gift cards sponsored by Gazelle Sports, Northville, MI.

Bring together a team of 5 or more (to qualify) to run. Each team member must be registered for the 5K. Choose "Team" when registering. Please be sure all team members register under the same name. 

Please note: The winners of the Cross Country High School Team Challenge will be based on the top 3 runners "average time" per team.

3 ways to win:
1. First place team will receive a $750 donation to their cross country program

2. Second place team will receive a $500 donation to their cross country program

3. Third place team will receive a $250 donation to their cross country program

Bonus: Every 5K registered cross country team member can stop by the Gazelle Sports tent on race day to receive a $25 gift card to their Northville, MI store.
