PA Trailheads 5 Mile Run

Join the PA Trailheads for their inaugural 5 mile run at the beautiful Lackawanna State Park! This is sure to be an exciting run on some of the areas best trails!. The one loop course will start on Lake View Road, head over the dam and onto the Abington Trail before heading back to the start. All runners will receive via email a map which will detail where to park as well as an outline of the course (expect this 1-2 weeks prior to the race). 

Day of registration begins at 7am and goes until 8:30 (race start time). Pre-registered runners can pick up their bib at this time. 

After the run, stick around for food and to mingle with other runners. We want to make this a fun, unique, and family friendly event! 

Proceeds from the event will benefit local young runners to assist them in reaching their goals. 

 All participants will receive a race glass. Special handcrafted prizes will be awarded to the top 3 for every age group by 10 years.

Note: This race is on nature trails and though we highly recommend a trail specific shoe, road shoes can be worn. Please exercise caution as you will come across rocks, roots, and uneven terrain!
