EARLY REGISTRATION OPENS August 1st.
Join us for the seventh annual Buffalo Run at Palmetto Bluff featuring a 10K, 30K, or 50K course. This trail race benefits the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Held on Sunday, December 13th, the Buffalo Run 6.2-mile trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy — it’s all a part of the experience.
30K and 50K Relay Teams. Gather your friends and compete in the 30K and 50K endurance races with either a 3-person team for the 30K or a 5-person team for the 50K.

Packet pickup is Saturday 12/12. You can pick up your packets at Palmetto Running Company located at 30 Plantation Park Dr. Bluffton, SC 29910 from 12-6 p.m.
Race Day Sunday 12/13. Gates opens at 5:30 a.m. 50K and 50K Relay Race begins at 6:30 a.m. 30K and 30K Relay begins at 8:30 a.m. 10K Race begins at 10:00 a.m
Hydration Stations. These stations are located midway and at the finish. Please note that this is a cup free race and runners should bring their own water bottle.
Staging Area. Runners are allowed to set up pop-up canopy tents and tables for the support team in their designated areas.
Swag. Buffalo Run long sleeve shirts to all participants registered before December 1st. 30K and 50K runners each receive a Buffalo Run hat.
Awards. Buffalo awards are given to the overall male and female finishers in each race and overall relay teams. Buffalo Run trophies for all 50K finishers.
After Party and Awards Presentation. The Buffalo Run After Party begins at 11:30 a.m. Palmetto Bluff’s very own food truck, Big Carol, will be serving up buffalo wings and a cash bar will be available for soft drinks and beer. Each runner receives a complimentary basket of buffalo wings and a beer from our friends at River Dog.
Directions: The start/finish line is located at 664 Moreland Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. From Old Palmetto Bluff Road – turn right on Old Moreland Road. Runners will then be directed to parking as they enter Moreland Village.
