About the event
The Park City Trail Series 10K is perfect for new trail runners and competitive athletes alike. The 10k is on dirt roads, double track, and plenty of single track with nice climbs and descents. PCTS is a runners' series and does not require mountain goat ability to make the hills. There are water stations and directional signs at trail intersections so you can focus on the surrounding views of the Park City mountains and resorts.
The 10k is the second race of the summer-long Park City Trail Series which includes one race per month from June to September with a 5k, 10k, 10 mile, and half marathon. You can register for one race or commit to the whole series for the best value.
Each race in the series adds distance and elevation gain in manageable increments. New athletes enjoy the progressive challenge of the series and working up over the summer to a trail half marathon. Elite athletes will enjoy competing against some of the fastest trail runners in Utah on a course that mixes single track, double track, switchbacks, climbs, descents and straightaways for a fun, fast run in a beautiful setting with chip timing.
