Paws in the Park 5k

General Information

Join us for our 2nd annual 5k run/walk. Paws in the Park is one of Cascades Humane Society’s largest fundraisers of the year!  Paws in the Park 2020 is on Saturday, June 6th and features a beautiful 5k run/walk through the charming Sparks Foundation Park (aka Cascades Falls Park). Registration is just $25 when you register before May 23rd. After May 23rd, registration is $30 through June 5th, and $35 the day of the race. Leashed dogs are welcome to attend and participate in the event. Still want to participate in the traditional 1.3 mile walk? We have you covered! The traditional walk-a-thon will begin at 10am!

Special pricing for families! Register 3 or more people at the same time (same household) and save $3 per person.  Special pricing automatically applied during checkout.

Early Packet Pick Up with be on Friday June 5th, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at CHS 1515 Carmen Dr., Jackson, MI 49202.
Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration starts at 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am.

Awards

Awards for top 3 in each age group will be awarded, male and female. We will also be celebrating our canine participants, top dog awards will be given to the first 3 dogs to cross the finish line!

Age Groups: 15 and under, 16 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 +

Timing

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. 

Volunteers

Come out and help support the runners and walkers and keep our furry friends safe on the course.

We need volunteers for the following:

-Water Stations
