About the event
It's time to Take Flight with Pen Air's 5k on the Runway at the Northern Maine Regional Airport on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00am. This unique event will allow participants to take to the runway at PQI to complete a 5k course AND Kids 1/2 mile run. This event is open to runners, joggers and walkers. A Dash for the Cash will take place at the finish line with the chance for everyone to win a prize. Overall awards will be presented in an awards ceremony following the event. A kid’s half mile race will take place starting from the Presque Isle Airport Passenger Terminal.

8:00 am – Volunteers arrive.
8:30 am – Race Day Registration and pre-registration bib pick up.
9:30 am – Registration & Bib pick up closes.
10:00 am – PenAir 5k on the Runway Begins!
10:15 am – first finisher (approximately).
10:30 am – Kids ½ mile Run Begins From Passenger Terminal
10:45 am – last finisher (approximately).
11:15 am – Awards Ceremony
